Receiving Your Healing

Romans 10:1-9 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. 2 For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

5 For Moses writes about the righteousness which is of the law, “The man who does those things shall live by them.” 6 But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (That is, to bring Christ down from above) 7 or “‘Who will descend into the abyss?’” (That is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

When you became born again, you became an heir to everything that He is. Everything that He has provided through Christ Jesus belongs to you. But just because something belongs to you, does not mean you are living that as a reality in your life. God has already done His part!  When you are experiencing sickness and you try to get God to heal you, it’s wrong thinking. He has already done it! It was done at the cross! You just need to get in line with how He perceives it, so that you can receive it.  He wants you to receive what He has already provided. It’s a close to you as your own beating heart. Get your heart and your mouth in line with His heart and His mouth. Until you do that, you won’t receive because that’s how He gave it. These are things that never change.

To receive from God all that has been provided through Christ Jesus, all you have to do is believe and say. You can’t get simpler than that. When you were born again, you had to believe in your heart, and say with your mouth. Jesus bore your sin on the cross. He became your sin, was judged as you, took your place, suffered under the penalty, then was raised up justified. It was a completed work. He did His part, and when we do our part, we are able to partake in the same victory! Jesus bore our sickness the same day on the cross. So, how do you receive your healing? The exact same way. Believe in your heart and say with your mouth.  That day on the cross, Jesus took our sin and sickness up off of us, put it on Himself, carried it back to where it came from, and left it there. He came back victorious, and we are free from it. It is now our job to believe that happened, and say, “Thank you Lord I am healed.” You aren’t trying to get Him to do it, it has already been done!  We need only to receive it. This applies to everything that was paid for on the cross. You maintain your walk with God through your words! If you want something you have to say it! You’re at where you are now, because of what’s coming out of your mouth!

Psalm 119:89 Forever, O Lord,
Your word is settled in heaven.

God already knows what He believes. It is settled. It cannot be changed! When you decide that you’re going to believe and say what lines up with what God believes and says, it’s called faith.  In our day and age, we are surrounded by opinions all day every day. From news to social media people are expressing their opinions more than ever before.  It affects us more than we know. But truth trumps facts. Facts are circumstantial. Truth points to a higher reality. It is the highest form of reality that exists. Feed on God’s ultimate truth! You can believe anything you want to! You can say anything you want to! That can work for you, or it can work against you. Quit talking the problem! By your words you are held in bondage, or you are set to liberty.

Romans 10:10-17 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:

“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace,
Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?” 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

If you will believe this and do it, you won’t be disappointed. He won’t let you down! It says so in verse 11. This works for ANYONE! Feed yourself the truth and let it push the doubt and fear out of you! You can be healed and whole! You can have peace! You have to speak it!
